The founding story
Inspired at home. Built for a wider community.
A home filled with ten beloved dogs made the need personal: identity, care and protection should move with an animal. Haven is the long-term effort to turn that conviction into careful, connected tools for families and animal-welfare organizations.
Their names, breeds and stories remain private until real details are ready to be shared. The inspiration is genuine; the story will never be filled with invented stand-ins.
Privacy by design
Identification should create a safe connection without publishing a family’s home address or personal phone number.
Responsible technology
Haven will make its development status clear, use disciplined safeguards and avoid promises the platform cannot yet keep.
Built alongside rescuers
Shelters, rescues, fosters and volunteers should help shape tools intended to support their work.
A longer horizon
A future physical haven, supported by better systems.
The long-term vision includes supporting a future physical dog rescue where careful operations and deeply humane care meet. That rescue does not exist today. For now, the work is to listen, design responsibly and build the technology foundation well.
